Q: How are orders dispatched & how long does it take to receive them?
Orders are sent by UPS next day courier service, with a delivery time of between seven to ten working days from the time you place your order. If you require a delivery service other than the one offered please email Dissect.co.uk to see if an alternative is available.
Q: Delivery charge?
There is a packing and delivery charge £10.00. Orders over £200 are packed and delivered free of charge to the U.K main land, some exceptions may apply and charges incurred.
Q: How do I pay for my order?
Payment can be made with Sage pay safely through our website; we accept all major credit cards. We are able to invoice educational establishments on receipt of an order.
Q: How products are packed & how do I care for them?
All products are sent out vacuum sealed, frozen and ice packed in a polystyrene thermo container, this will ensure they reach you in prime condition. The products should be removed from the polystyrene containers and stored in their vacuum packaging in a freezer set at a temperature of -18 degrees centigrade. When they have defrosted and after you have used them you can refreeze them and use them once again if in a fit state. Alternatively you can recycle the product by cooking it and feed it to a pet. All products are sourced from reputable abattoirs and were initially intended for human consumption.
Q: Advantages over preserved products?
All products Keep their original appearance without any distortion; do not smell of any strong chemicals.
Are 100% better to use in dissection as veins and main structure do not get distorted and can be viewed as they were originally within the animals.
Q: Customer complaints?
If any problems do arise all complaints are to be directed to our customer services department at our main office and will be dealt with is as shot a time period as possible, with the aim of resolving the problem to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
Q: Returns policy?
Unfortunately due to the nature of the products we sell we cannot accept returns, but if there is a problem with any item, we will do our best to rectify the problem to your satisfaction.
